Photo Gallery

Welcome to the AFCLK Photo Gallery. We feature pictures of project work and other events and activities. If you have questions or want to get involved, contact us. We would love to hear from you.

AFCLK hosted multi-generational games at the chess and checker tables at the Elm Street Plaza in Bath. Tables and games were funded by AARP and the Davenport Trust.

With support from AARP we hosted a shredding event in partnership with age-friendly Georgetown in 2023 that collected over 9000 pounds of paper from people in Bath, West Bath, Georgetown, Arrowsic, Phippsburg, and Woolwich for shredding and recycling.

The shredding company representative commented on the success of the event that success depends on having a dedicated team of volunteers like ours.

Our group has participated in several social gatherings designed to help us learn more about the communities we serve. Trips have included a Walking Tour of Historic Bath with Embark Tours, a Range Lights Keepers' Tour, a visit and tour of the Phippsburg Historical Society, and a tour of Reid State Park.

We meet regularly and work on projects designed to promote diversity, inclusion and cohesion across all ages and capacities.
